I've had great success calling MR with promotions lately-- I am a plat. I've had instances where I've only stayed 15 nights instead of the required 20, and when I called after the promotion they changed it retroactively and gave me 15,000 points or something like that. The 4th quarter Visa promotion didn't work for me because we have a company Mastercard, but I had 6 personal stays and they gave me two category 1-4 certs. If you call them now they will even put notes in your file regarding your request. I've called months later and the current rep will reference the prior comments and confirm them. I'm very happy with the results I've received from calling MR and changing promotions.
