I am a Silver and flew DL a few weeks ago. On my way out I snagged the UG in the window so could check all three of my bags for free. On the way back, I flew in coach and was not looking forward to the $125 excess baggage fee. When I checked in on the kiosk it gave me the option of checking bags 1 and 2 for free and bag 3 for $25, which pleasantly suprised me, so you may just be in luck!
