Currently thinking of a Mileage Run to get to Silver. Want those extra Tier Points in one trip & to enjoy the Lounges & me drinks beforehand on this trip...... Worked hard enough to get this far......

Alternately if I'm not offered when is the latest time do you think I should spend the Miles if they dont come thru with the POUG offer & subsequently decide to punt the full cost?

Dont like the cheaper Club Fri/Sat/Sun Flights as I'm away from home at the weekend & the Mrs doesnt understand what I'm doing! She collects her Tesco Club Card points, but i'm starting to get hooked on BA Avios now! Once upon a time I was Silver but that was in the good old days when the Oil Business paid for Club Tickets, it aint like that now....

Anyway how does the POUG or Paid Upgrade at T-24hr work? The Economy fare is £ 316 & the Upgrades cost only £ 80 each way if BA decide to Upsell.

The Club europe is the full whack of £ 733 which is really beyond my Budget. Rather get away with a cheaper sum but have the fail safe of paying for the upgrade if I'm lucky at Ladbrokes later today!


I'm thinking of doing Istanbul on the 26th returning 27th

I've checked KVS & the indicators look good, joined the bloody thing to see if the Fare Class gives the scoop on which Economy Fares might offer POUG & I cant bloody find it!
