Wow - It was an ordeal to sign up for an Aeroplan number for someone not residing in Canada / USA.

Aeroplan's website kept on trying to verify the foreign address, attempting to fit it into the Canadian/American format. Why can't they provide generic fields for foreign addresses?

And fields clearly marked as optional, like Postal Code and Street No., are not really optional...
