Which airport is better to connect through - Charles deGaulle or Rome? I have been on Delta flights arriving in Paris and parking in front of a fence, necessitating a walk down the stairs of the plane and boarding a bus to get to the terminal. A pretty miserable experience and one that can make you miss a connecting flight. Is Rome any better????? Another potential connecting airport is Athens, Greece (ATH), but I have better flight options through the other two airports.
