Itīs more like the other way around.

If TG offered a top-notch product, they would most likely attract more revenue pax and award availability would be much more limited.

However, artifically restricting award availability of course doesnīt make TG a premium airline.

As mentioned above, TG doesnīt offer the very best product in the sky, but the product is decent and the value proposition even as a paying F pax is excellent. You can often get Europe-BKK-SYD for >$6k in F while LH/LX charge 2x-3x as much.
