Yes, you should still be able to do so. But the amount you receive for the hotel portion of a TP award isn't very much (given the value of the airline points.) And the amount you will receive for the hotel portion is dependent on the hotel category and the amount of airline miles awarded in the TP award. The more airline miles, the lower the amount Marriott will give you for returning the hotel e-cert.
