If her spend counts towards my MQM bonus threshold there's no real reason to right? I mean it seems like the only meaningful missing items for staying Platinum are independent access to SC and..... car rental insurance I suppose.

Anything I missed in this assessment?

Have my wife and both my sons as AMEX Delta Platinums free of charge add-ons to my AMEX Delta Reserve card.

Edited to add: If you have upgraded to AMEX DL Reserve, your spouse will receive a new AMEX DL Platinum card, linked to your account.
