To be honest, like it or not SQ is truly declining over the past several years. Even the FAs and IFS' acknowledged that.

Lets start with the following:

1. Suites (R) in terms of soft products are no longer differentiated from F, to which several years ago the products were actually of a higher class than F.

2. I've had at one point a most displeasing experience with SQ Ground when I'm the only 1 in F, and I ordered 1 BTC instead I got 3 BTCs and no other meals were present as options. At first, the IFS told me that this is policy until rectified by the airline stating it is not SQ's policy.

3. Although their services are still one of the best in the skies, their Ground services are one of the worst if compared to other leading airlines. This of course refers directly with call centers, ground handling staff, and even agents in SIN at times.

4. Caviars are disappearing from F menus in long-haul flights, and SQ ex. SIN just can't seem to do croissant right.

So yes I am truly worried about SQ as an airline. Both as a customer and as someone who likes flying with them all the time. Singapore needs to once again be the leading airline in the world, not a trailing airline.

By the by, it took them at least 3 weeks to reply to my complaint message. It was directed at SQ office in SFO. Thought you should know!
