Assuming this wasn't TLV, where I need to go through a preliminary check anyways and get my BP approved, how would you know? If I have a BP that prints like a normal BP, why wouldn't it work? This was an ex-EWR flight, and I had no problem using it to check my bags at EWR and get through security

I have noticed the privacy curtains that they put up at the gates for the TLV flights.
What goes on back there?
Are you referring to the EWR-TLV flight, by C138? They check your BP (to ensure it's the TLV BP), and then hand check all your carry-ons while doing a wand check, and then the desk re-checks your BP. In my personal opinion, a waste of time.
