My wife, our 3 yrs old son and I are heading to Phuket end of March / beginning of April for 14 days. Our main focus is to spend most of our days enjoying nice white sand beaches, crystal clear blue turquoise water and have some snorkeling. However, we also want to visit some places that gives us some other view of Phuket than its beaches...

As it is our first time on Phuket we would be happy and thankful to get some ideas / hints on how to plan and go. Currently our plan is as follows

1) Day 1-4: Khao Lak - JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa
2) Day 5-9: Ko Racha - Rayaburi Beach Resort
3) Day 10-14: Phuket (Karon) - Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort

- Do you have any good advices what we can do in Khao Lak beside enjoying beach & sea?
- Are the beaches at the planned resorts nice and not too crowded? Or any other recommendations?
- In Phuket we plan to have the trip to Phi Phi, what / where is the best way to book it? Are there any other tours/trips/sightseeings you would do?
- At Ko Racha there is also the other Resort "The Racha" where we also would consider to stay. Any advice on which one to choose?
