Are you able, now, to find the l/h BA flight number offered on aa.com? This seems to be the bit that's now different for some of my possible bookings.

From the latest tranche of posts it is, sadly, looking like on-line seat booking has been dropped on aa.com bookings for BA metal (maybe 100% of time maybe 50% of time .. whatever). The only workaround covered so far seems to be to call BA.

In TBS' example, wouldn't BA price match do the trick? Still a phone call but at least all sorted (or not) at the time you book, and before parting with cash.
