The curtain is for crew rest. This is required for certain routes. Some other aircraft would have crew bunk areas, a small enclosed room with seats near the cockpit, or other rest spaces, so not every 2-2-2 plane....Or every flight on a 2-2-2 plane that does use the curtains....
