I do not recline out of respect for the person behind me.
I choose because of space limitations, and appreciate when the person in front of me does same.

Today on a 1,200 mile airplane ride (Boeing 737-800) the person in front of me, in coach, immediately reclines; and then proceeds to lean forward and play with his smartphone or whatever the whole flight.
He leans forward the whole flight with seat fully reclined, he leans forward the whole flight with seat fully reclined.
What is up with that?
