At one time I worked in the transportation sector. There was some excitement one day when a lorry returning from France had a tapping on the back door. Police were summoned and out jumped a number of Iraqis, they had papers showing asylum leave in France, but had decided that the UK would be better, for some reason, and had illegally stowed in the truck.
