I would not consider this a loss....quite the opposite. My husband and I stay in Omnis a great deal b/c their service is excellent and a stay with them is always a good experience. They had Charleston Place when it was opened...stayed many times, despite losing points at other locations. It was turned over to Orient Express around 1995. We have stayed at Charleston Place recently and the stays can't compare to those when it was flagged by Omni. So unless you're desperate for points, I don't think this is bad at all. I like Hiltons in that area...Doubletree in Charleston is quite good as are the Hampton Inns. But I just had to say welcome back to Omni.
