I gave Expedia a call this morning. As expected they had absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of the Rail & Fly program. I then called Lufthansa in the USA. The agent could nt have been nicer. My ticket was NOT issued on LH ticket stock but it did not seem to matter at all. (This thread is the only place I have ever seen ticket stock mentioned with regard to this program) Within 10 minutes I had paid my €25 and had my confirmation number. It was fairly early US time, and I have no idea where the agent was located. The pdf file I received with my booking confirmation has the US call center information on it.
