The best value from NY is south america, with 160K you could go to peru, chile, argentina and back, stopping by in the caribbean if you like..
And every flight will cost you a few dollars of taxes (50-60 if I remember well).

Otherwise you could go to europe in First class, paying fuel surcharges etc, that means 6-700$ for a ticket which is worth 6-8000$.. Still quite a good deal..

Or you could go to HKG with Cathay in business for 3-400$ of taxes, yq, etc..
