We are expecting about 1 to 3 inches of snow in New York and there is another six inches predicted for Chicago today and into tonight. I just called the EXP desk to see what options were available as I am due to fly to ORD tomorrow AM. For me its a DEQM MR combined with a weekend in Chicago.

What I wanted to do was overnight somewhere south tonight (like RDU) and fly to ORD tomorrow AM once the storm passes Chicago. Well, the EXP TA agent asks me if I'm on a MR because she has spent the entire morning talking to EXPers that are flying in and through ORD on MRs. I laughed and said in a way yes but I was also visiting friends. My intent to overnight was more a function of being able to get to ORD rather than rack up miles per se although with DEQM this month it certainly would be an added bonus.

Unfortunately she could not change anything yet as an official Northeast Travel Policy has not been updated.
