I just flew JFK-NRT and they passed out slippers and pjs on the flight. I didn't put the pjs on, I ended up working the entire flight so I didn't change. The slippers were a lot more comfortable than shoes, however.
I guess folks must have missed the "sarcastic" smiley in my earlier post....
My point was not that changing into something more comfortable on the plane is a bad thing, but was meant to point out how one is dressed for the duration of travel (i.e. in the airport).
