Hi Liana,

Most people in here travel a lot through CDG and you would mostly get the reply: Yes, it is easy.

This said, it can be a little daunting for a first timer as the airport is fairly large and divided up in sections depending on where you are going. You will be arriving at 2E (AF from the US) and your connecting flight (also AF?) will depart from the Schengen terminal 2F.

IMO the airport is well marked with directions to where you want to go and there is ADP (Airport of Paris) staff to help you out should you get "lost".

I personally find the airport architecturally very beautiful BUT when it comes to places to eat outside the lounges it is very poor and expensive indeed. There are limits to how many macaroons from Ladurée you can eat (even though they should be put on the world heritage list ) and how much you want to fork out for a plastic bowl of salad...

Over all, you will be fine depending on how much time you have for transfer. Some say 90 min, some say more, others less...
