understood... benefits-wise, i believe the perks are the same for dl elites on as and as elites on dl. i extended the interpretation of 'better treatment' to in flight service. i would add also award availability that is supported by EF so one can set up alerts and quickly and easily book the AS flight for low miles - delta lags there, big time.
