Jet finally sent me a reply back with some sugar coating:
Thought I would let you all know, may be if enough of us write they will listen seriously.

Dear Mr. XXX

I refer to your email dated January 6th, 2012.

It is rather unfortunate that you have deprived us of an opportunity to be of service to you on your forthcoming travel.

Yes, as rightly mentioned by you, effective October 1st , 2011, as per the revised Jet Airways’ Free Baggage Allowance Policy , if the Domestic and International sectors are booked on a different document, i.e. two different tickets, the Free Baggage entitlement on the Domestic flight will be applicable as per the Baggage allowance mentioned on the ticket for the domestic flight, i.e. 20 kilos in the economy class. This information is also updated on our website.

However, we do acknowledge the feedback received by our guests and have shared the same with the Marketing Team for review.

Thank you for taking the time to communicate with us and we look forward to an early opportunity of welcoming you on board our flights.

On behalf of Jet Airways’ and my colleagues at Guest Relations, I wish you a Healthy and Wealthy 2012.

Yours Sincerely,
XXXXX
