Carolyn. I am not impressed. I first encountered this programme at the Crown Plaza Liverpool City Centre on 26 December 2011. This appears to give this particulars a property an 'excuse' to not upgrade Platinums anymore! The Front of House manager explained the reasoning behind the pilot and, compared to what this property used to offer, the programme is nothing short of "shameful". What is the position? Are Platinums still entitled to the space available upgrade? And what is your "take" on properties which have plenty of upgraded rooms empty but then argue there is no inventory to offer the space available upgrade to the platinum member; something the CP Liverpool now 'revels' in arguing!
