Booking 'failed' try again.....so I did !
I booked online with Icelandair, got to the payment page, entered the details of the payment....the next screen showed 'serious error, please try again later'.
I went and got a cup of coffee, and 15-minutes later tried again. This time no problem, the payment went through, I got the ticketing details.
30-minutes later I check my email to find I've bought four tickets instead of two! It seems in spite of the 'error' meassage, the first payment was accepted OK. Fortunately I had opted for the cancellation cover, but I'm still wondering what bill I would have been presented with for cancelling one booking if I hadn't?
