Looking at the master plan, it seems to be a great improvement overall. Knowing how Utah's government carries projects, I can see this going without any hiccups, and if they end up hosting the 2022 winter olympics, I'm more than sure they will optimize time/resources to have the whole phase 1 completed ahead of time.

It seems that Delta wants to keep SLC as a regional hub, as they will be investing in this renovation.
