For 180k miles, I can go roundtrip in business class from SEA to IST (100k) with a stopover for a few days in Paris. I can add on top of that a First class trip to Puertor Rico (35k), with a few days in route in Las Vegas. Finally, I can throw in a domestic coach trip to see Mickey in Orlando (25k), visiting friends in Chicago on my way there.
In exchange for all that, your gift recipients need to connect in order to get to South Africa in Biz Class... sounds fair to me!
They have already made the arrangements for the honeymoon, safari, hotels etc and a side trip to the Seychelles.
I have been given strict orders not to disturb plans already in place.
It hurts me to do it, but that's the way it is. No stops. No tight connections. No family squabbles.
Besides, its a once in a lifetime trip, might as well be perfect. For them anyway lol.
