Brand loyalty from a brit in europe...
I know this has been flogged to death, but having read the forum often its quite clear that BA has lost a lot of good faith with its real euro members not its cheats. Im british and have kept up my brand loyalty to ba living in copenhagen and racked up 2000 tps on long haul trips but where is BAs brand loyalty back to members like myself. I read how everyone in the UK loves to chase avios by their BA amex card, Tesco cards, all other ways of collecting avios in the UK, but for the loyal european there is zero. I make my miles the hard way, there are never any offers targeted to europeans to collect miles apart from bog standard hotels and car hire. And if u look at CPH airport what are my options to fly oneworld. Not great if i want to goto madrid, rome, paris, frankfurt or any other major euopean city, and forget air and finnair unless u want to fly to the far east, and im not going to be a saddo and fly to london to get to Madrid. So, what im saying is that BA should lookbat countries individually, if there are very few options to travel oneworld like in CPH the tier points needed to achieve gold, silver should be adjusted lower accordingly, while it would also be nice if they could look a maybe branding euro or in my case dkk credit cards to use to collect avios, im sure there is a lot of demand there. I know theres been 1000 posts on the europeans but if BA looks at it sensibly there is still a market out there for them if they slightly adjust the goalposts. Unless things change i will have to drift away from BA and thats not what i want, so come on BA put some effort back into the european executive club and give us some proper service back, we dont even have a gold telephone line
