Interesting. The sockets were there for power and the FA thought it might be working but it wasn't. The GA said that the plane was supposed to have IFE but it hadn't been installed yet. So that was technically true; he didn't say how soon it would happen... I hope that temporary interior means that the overhead compartment space will be larger once everything is done

I'll have to make sure I don't book one again for now.

Update: I just looked at the CO website. it claims that 12/12 737-900's and 30/32 737-900ERs have Direct TV. If that is accurate, then I got one of the 2 ER's that didn't have it.
