What's up with Adria's schedule?!

In August, I booked flights from Seattle to Ljubljana using United Airlines frequent flyer miles. Flights were SEA>FRA on Lufthansa, with a 3.5 hr layover in FRA, then FRA>LJU on Adria (JP113), arriving LJU at 13:20 - a nice, early afternoon arrival that gave us a free afternoon and evening in Ljubljana.

On Jan. 1, we got a recorded phone call from United alerting us of a schedule change. I went online and checked - the outbound SEA>FRA Lufthansa flight had moved out about 5 minutes - not a problem. There was no sign of any change in the Adria flight. Our return flight on LH, also from FRA>SEA had also moved up about 10 minutes, which tightened our connection a bit, but still seemed manageable. So I shrugged and didn't worry about it.

Today (16 days later) I checked our flights again on Lufthansa's website - glad I did! Now I see the Adria flight has moved - a lot. The Adria flight number has not changed, but it has changed from a 12:05 noon departure to an 18:25 (6:25 pm) departure.

If we take this flight, we would be stuck with a 10-hour layover in FRA. It would also mean that we wouldn't arrive in LJU until 19:40 - much later than we had planned to arrive.

I note that on some search engines, JP113 is still listed as the noon departure. On Adria's website, though, they show it as an 18:25 departure - so I assume Adria's website has the correct info.

I'm pretty miffed about this change, and wondering what my options are.

Our inbound flight on Lufthansa is scheduled to arrive in FRA at 08:25.

Adria has 3 flights from FRA>LJU:
JP117: departs FRA 09:10, arrives LJU 10:25. I'd love to get on this flight, but the connect time (35 minutes) just doesn't look realistic.
JP149: departs FRA 14:20, arrives LJU 15:35. Not quite as bad, but still a 6 hour layover in FRA.
JP113: departs FRA 18:25, arrives LJU 19:40. This was our original flight, and we're still ticketed for it. 10 hours in FRA does not sound appealing.

According to the ANA search engine, there *is* award space available on all three of these Adria flights (but no other TATL flights that would get us to FRA or any way to get all the way to LJU on that day).

Am I correct that 35 minutes is completely unrealistic to connect to JP117 (coming in from the USA on LH)? We will only have carry-ons (that is, if I can keep my wife from overpacking...) but still - I assume we need to clear customs.
Would it be worth pushing them to switch us to JP117, knowing that the connection is very questionable - and if we miss that flight, how likely would it be that they could get us on the next flight (JP149 departing at 14:20)?

Any suggestions? Thanks.
