OP here. I just realized that on my LAS-YYZ boarding pass, it showed AC*E, meaning I have elite. So technically I guess I could have boarded earlier (and not with the usual economy crowd)?

On a related matter: What about lounges? I don't have a Top Tier or *A Gold card yet, or any such proof, except for a boarding pass that says AC*E. Can I still access lounges, and give them my Aeroplan number?

Thanks all! This is the first time I've earned Elite status despite years of traveling, so so many questions!
