Kind of on topic, what pushes my buttons is the DOT regs are pretty strict about seatbelts, yet it seems perhaps five percent of the time I fly on longhauls the seatbelt is improperly installed and one half is installed so you have to twist the belt 180 degrees to properly fasten it (or risk re-installing it and have an FA berate you for doing something you are "unqualified" to do).
