3. How do we contact the hotel Hilton Honor's manager to assist us with requests? Is this just the concierge who acts as this or is there a real dedicated manager on duty to help?
4. Why would they list Express Checkout as a benefit when all you do is go to your TV or dial a special number to do Express Checkout and all incidentals after midnight are automatically charged to the credit card on file? I have been doing Express Checkout on the old Lodgenet system since 1991.
1. Yes. At some hotels there will be a line for Hhonors members. Not all hotels have one. Expedited check-in just means that they have all your paperwork pre-printed and your keys pre-made.
2. Check-out policies vary. Some properties will allow you to stay until 4PM some only until noon or 1. Of course, you must ask and they may or may not be able to accommate you based on the hotel's capacity the following night.
3. To my knowledge there isn't an Hhonors liason at each hotel (I've never encountered one). If you need something you just ask at the front desk. Nothing special.
4. Hhonors express check-out isn't what you think it is. It's much easier than that. Express check-out requires nothing but dropping your key cards at the front desk as you walk out the door (or leaving them in the room). At 3 or 4 AM, your bill is slipped under your door. If the bill is correct, you need do nothing. If it isn't correct, you must see the front desk before you leave. You don't have to use the TV or call a number or intiate anything. If you are on an advanced payment stay, then you won't get a bill under your door unless you charged something to the room. You just drop your keys at the front desk and leave.
