I can respect that the higher price point may not may not suit your values, but.. "offensive"? "bilking"? Is Mercedes-Benz "bilking" customers with a $60k E-class sedan when a $15k Kia is also functional transport? Is Dom Perignon "bilking" people with a $200 bottle when Korbel is only $15 and some can't tell the difference?

Premium products of any kind are not prima facie "offensive" just because you personally don't see the value in them.
