Trying to bilk someone out of 10k+ for a seat to sit in for 8-10 hours is on its face offensive and even if the cost of a first class ticket was .000000001% of my income, I would not pay it.
I can respect that the higher price point may not may not suit your values, but.. "offensive"? "bilking"? Is Mercedes-Benz "bilking" customers with a $60k E-class sedan when a $15k Kia is also functional transport? Is Dom Perignon "bilking" people with a $200 bottle when Korbel is only $15 and some can't tell the difference?
Premium products of any kind are not prima facie "offensive" just because you personally don't see the value in them.
