Wondering if Virgin Atlantic has a 24hr cancellation policy like other airlines do.

I'm booking a trip to India (DEL) for travel on 1/24 and I'm concerned I don't get my passport. I have an appointment at the Miami passport office tomorrow, where a booked ticket is required for travel within 14 days.

Can I book online tonight, and if there are any unforeseen mishaps get a 100% refund tomorrow? Can anyone see another way to insure I can get a refund?
