Isn't the real problem here that you will get a single entry visa from EK? It's unlikely immigration cares who you fly out with - provided you have complied with the stipulations of your visa. But how will you re-enter the UAE on a visa which will have no validity after you leave?

Not worried about my second entry into the UAE (at AUH on EY), since that will be a local company sponsored visa - so I should have not have a problem entering at AUH and leaving from DXB.
