Presumably there's enough profit to make it worth their while keeping both open! Jenners only became part of House of Fraser in 2005, and I suspect there would be a small riot were anyone to suggest closing it down.
I remember for years Frasers happily co-existed with Arnotts in Glasgow, despite being part of the same group and just across the road from each other.
