Yes. AC is often a bit lower (as is US). LH tracks pretty much with UA in terms of price. BA is usually higher, but even if they weren't I won't fly them again TATL unless somebody else is paying for J. (Most uncomfortable TATL flights I've ever had, and that includes LTU). LX is usually a bit more than UA or DL, but not out of the ball park.

If you told me the old prices were unsustainable, I couldn't argue with you -- not knowing enough the airline business. But anybody who says prices have not gone up with all the consolidation -- even adjusting for fuel prices -- doesn't know what they are talking about.

Remember, all these JV's are really "anti-trust exemptions" allowing parties to collude to set prices. If you got the kind of integration you had with NW and KLM you might convince me it was worth it. But DL with KL/AF (haven't taken AZ but I haven't heard it's better) -- don't make me laugh.
