Thanks for the reply! I'm actually Silver now anyway, which I know means I could have waited and gotten the bulkhead seats for free tomorrow anyway. But I jumped on them because the flight is full and my daughter happens to be a 21 month old in a car seat. Bulkheads are ideal for a "kick-free zone." That's really why I care so much.

The op. I spoke to reassured me that I was "in their system" in the bulkhead seats and that they'd actually called the airport to make the switch (true? Who knows?). And they actually didn't end up charging me since they were having issues.

I've just done the cross-country flight so many times by myself with my daughter . . . I know how much the bulkhead helps and I was pumped to have been able to snag it.
