I've reported here before that German screeners are required to speak German and English. Many have a third language as well.
In Canada, CATSA guarantees the option to be screened in either English or French. And many of the screeners speak another language.
In India, every screener I have ever encountered spoke English.
I travel to many countries where they do not speak one of the several languages I speak as a primary language, and I manage to pass through screening without barking/bullying/shouting.
On another thread, I posted the pictograms used in some airports outside the US. Why is it so complicated in the US and why can they not move towards simplicity?
(I know, I know....)
