The compensation I am seeking goes beyond the bird strike. Its the events following the strike are the real issues.

We sat on the plane for 1 hour at the gate after landing so mechanics can inspect the plane.
Its waiting at the gate for a half hour,, after deplaning, to figure out where where going.
Its waiting on the buses for 45 mins for an unknown reason.
Its the poor choice in hotel that doesn't allow children and being bused again to a sister hotel.
Its the putting a family of 4 in a suite with only two beds.

It was a disaster!
