The place is practically a dump. The cabana rooms as well as the suites are the worst I ever experienced in this particular category of hotels. Keep in mind the Sheraton charges sometimes beyond 300 SGD per night.

Platinum Recognition is scarce, the Lounge is ok but not more. Rooms... I better don't start. Had the Africa Suite last year... comical !!

The property might be useful with C&P awards in case the rates in SIN are boiling over.

Other than that, the Swissotel Stamford is my favorite. The staff there is great (particular in the lounge) and I get top notch treatment.

Grand Hyatt is too expensive for what they offer (even on our Corporate Plan) and the staff is too snobby, especially the Duty Manager team.
