I doubt that many people use Fedex to avoid security. Most people I know use it to avoid the hastle of travel in general. No need to check bags, lug stuff and be burdened whether on business or leisure. It's there and waiting for you when you get to your destination and the dirty clothes or work papers you don't need, arrive home without your effort.

High end hotels will, if you let them know what's in the package, unpack the clothes, press and hang them for you so you don't even have to unpack when you get there.
