Well I'm now firmly ensconced in the business lounge at Dubai airport. The flight was very comfortable, there was loads of room to spread out, plenty of storage for bits and bobs.

For dinner I had chicken and lamb salad, beef medallions and white chocolate mousse. Starter was okay, main was delicious and desert was a let down, I couldn't taste any white chocolate. Service was lukewarm. A guy called rashid came round and shook everyone's hand and said treat this as your home for the next 7 hours but once the lights went out I think the staff went to bed! I went looking for some ice cream, there was nobody at the bar so I entered the galley and a male steward asked a female where they were, she pointed and he said no they had melted and she said oh well there are no more! I then asked for more water as I had drank the one at my seat and she just passed it to me, no eye contact, no thanks or anything. Overall I am still unsure whether it is worth the extra as the service is no better than Y but I'll let you know once I'm back in the uk, hopefully my next flight will be better.
