now you had to pay for a bag fee on the new operating carrier... it has been established that originating carrier rules apply
You were compensated and now are upset that procedure was followed?
Would you be upset if they rerouted you on a non *A carrier and forced to pay bag fees? The better question I have is if they followed compensation guidelines for Euro flights (ie flight arriving within 4 hours of original time). Chalk this up to learning the rules the hard way...but thats life...I mean LH.
