I have stayed at the FS HK a few times and love it every time. Convenient location to get around, nice views (I like the non-harbor views just as much) and great pool/spa. However, if it is your fiance's first time to HK and you are worried about construction at the Pen, you may want to try the intercontinental or RC. I have not stayed at the RC so cannot comment. While the intercontinental is not in the same class as the Pen or the FS IMHO, the views are amazing, and for a first timer really provide a "wow" factor. Just my two cents
