I'm sure that in time they will change this. Paypal requires that credit card funded payments go to an account with fees on receipts. But for now it seems like a freebie.

Has anyone been warned/limited/banned from doing this? I've seen speculation on other threads about how not to be obvious, but does anyone know if they are actually looking at it?

Given my cc strategy for the year, pushing an extra $1000-$2000 a month would be really helpful.

Not only will you be banned , it could trigger a financial review from your CC company as has been reported. However, there have also been people getting away with it.
