This made me laugh and also question how much you actually know about this stuff. The machine readable strips are incredibly EASY to fake, usually much easier than the holographic front side of the ID. Even the more recent encoded tag types are still simple to fake. If someone is even remotely competent at making IDs they will know how to fake this. The TSA loves to act like there is a master mind terrorist plot around every corner, but also apparently thinks that these same terrorists are complete morons. Spending millions of dollars and years in planning, only to be foiled by a card reader.
