For those of you who haven't heard, Delta has apparently engaged with talks with Blackstone about a
possible purchase of American Airlines.
If this deal should go through, what would happen to my miles with AA? Would AA switch out of OneWorld to SkyTeam (and if so, who would be the US anchor for that alliance)?
On other news, there is also speculation that US Airways is interested in AA. What happens there?
Any thoughts on this matter are appreciated.
