I spoke with the Amex credit bureau dept but the rep said they cannot tell when my account reports to the credit agencies each month. They would need an actual credit report account number, not the charge account number, to be able to verify specifically what day they reported.

I'm looking to find out if it is around the time of the statement closing, before that, days after, a more specific accounting of when? I dont know if I have a credit report account number that includes Amex and I've got many months before I have another free report.

Anyone know specifically which day on their account when the monthly report is sent from Amex to the credit agencies? It is account specific, not one for all accounts. I'd appreciate no guesses.

If someone has their credit report account number and wants to call Amex to find out, the number is 1-800-874-2717, and let me know what the pattern is, it would be appreciated.
